Sacrifice

Daily you drive into my life
A blade, a deadly sharpened knife
Reminding me of every sin
The blood is drawn, flows down my skin

A tear curses my deadened cheek
My sight is gone, still you I seek
Upon the call of deaths foul cry
Fall to my knees and heave a sigh

My love for you, my sacrifice
To you I give away my life
Upon the altar, here I lay
I love you, all I have to say
