Nothing but a flash in time
Leading to a life of regret
A precious soul missed out on life
A Love that was never met

You'll always be a part of me
A Love unique and new
In my heart you'll always be
The truth I never knew

Even though I knew you not
My love will always know true
That in my heart you won't be forgot
For I will always love you

My child, there's nothing I'd want more
Than to be able to say
These words to the face I know I'd adore
To hold you, if even only for a day
