How did I fall in love with you?
How did things occur like this?
How did I fall when I swore I'd stand?
How did I wind up here?
I swore to myself I'd stay alone
So heartbreak would no longer come
To save my life, I sacrificed
Or so I thought, until you came along
I knew you well before I realised
The fact that I feel more
Than just the friendship that I know must stay
I can't deny it longer
So I have to tell you how I feel
Despite knowing the reply
My heart, It only beats for you
And yet, it beats a sigh
For truly I feel that what I know
Is we can never be
I wish there was some way I could show
That you're the only one for me
