Lover's Dream

As the stars shone above
I knew it was true
That I could never love
Anyone as much as you

We wrapped our arms around each other
For the most gentle kiss
As two star crossed lovers
Shared in a moment of bliss

That one night of perfection
Felt so real to me
That as I sit in reflection
It was the future I could see

For one day very soon
You and I will know
How it is to walk under the light of the moon
To hold each other when we'll never let go
