The Actor

He walks by with an air of inner strength,
Greeting those who catch his eye,
Willing to go to any length,
To hide the fact that he's living a lie.

For underneath the strength you see,
A heart of weakness hides;
To unlock his mask you hold the key
By staying by his side.

He only needs a friend so dear
Who opening up to he feels free -
I pray by now you see it clear,
That this young man is me.
